Day 1

Arrival day

ENTEBBE - KAMPALA

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a Toturk safaris driver guide will transfer you to your lodge in Kampala for an overnight stay after a short brief about your safari adventure.  Have enough rest and prepare for your memorable adventure for the next 10 days.

Day 2

Kampala City Tour

KAMPALA

In the morning, start your exploration with a visit to Gaddafi Mosque for a panoramic view of Kampala, the historic Kasubi Tombs, the burial grounds of the Buganda kings, the Kabakas Palace, the official seat of the king of Buganda, and buganda parliament, Bulange Mengo. If time allows, before lunch visit the impressive sights of Namirembe Cathedral and Rubaga Cathedral, iconic symbols of Kampala's religious and cultural diversity.

After lunch, visit the Uganda Museum, where you can explore fascinating exhibits on the country's history and culture, and after the serene Bahai Temple, a place of worship renowned for its stunning architecture and tranquil surrounding. conclude your day with a leisurely stroll through a local crafts market, where you can glimpse into Uganda's vibrant arts and crafts scene.

For those seeking adventure, consider experiencing Kampala's vibrant nightlife with a visit to Kampalas night clubs,and immersing yourself in the pulsating rhythms and lively atmosphere of Kampala after dark.(drinks at eats at the bar at your cost)

Trasfer to Murchison falls National Park enroute Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

KAMPALA-ZIWA-MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, begin your journey to the Rhino Sanctuary in ziwa for a rhino trekking safari. This is the only place where you can see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. After the trek, have lunch and then continue your journey. Once you reach Murchison Falls National Park, visit the top of the falls and feel the vibrations of the most powerful waterfall in the world, which has an all-day rainbow reflected on it. You will then be transferred to your lodge in Murchison Falls National Park for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Game Drive and Boat Safari

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Start your morning with an exhilarating game drive in the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. The park is also a haven for bird watchers with over 450 species recorded. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise on the Nile River to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. As you navigate the river, you will encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of birdlife along the riverbanks. The cruise provides a unique perspective of the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall

Transfer to Kibale National Park

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls National Park and begin your journey to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you through the lush countryside, passing through traditional villages and scenic landscapes. Along the way, you may spot some wildlife and enjoy the diverse flora of Uganda.

Upon arrival in Kibale National Park, check into your lodge and take some time to relax and unwind for the exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure early the next morning. Kibale is renowned for its rich biodiversity and dense forests, and home to 13 species of primates, including the highest concentration of chimpanzees in Uganda.

Day 6

Chimpanzee Trekking

KIBALE NATIONAL PARK -QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Have an Ealy breakfast and then go for an unforgettable adventure of chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. Equipped with your trekking gear, you'll venture into the dense forest in search of one of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.The trek can vary in length, but once you find a troop of chimpanzees, you'll have the incredible opportunity to observe them up close for one hour. Witness their complex social behaviors, playful interactions, and human-like expressions. This intimate encounter with the chimps in their natural habitat is both thrilling and educational.

After the trek, return to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch before embarking on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, including tea plantations and the scenic Rwenzori Mountains, often referred to as the "Mountains of the Moon.".

Game drive and Boat Safari

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your experienced guide will take you through the savannah, tracking animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and various antelope species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a short relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is known for its high concentration of hippos and crocodiles, as well as the abundant birdlife along its banks. After the boat safari, return to your accommodation for dinner and spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 8

Ishasha sector game drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE N.P

After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park, renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions. Take your time to spot and photograph these magnificent creatures in this distinctive behavior. The drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will immerse you in the natural beauty and diversity of the region.

Upon arrival at Bwindi, visit the Batwa pygmy community, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Batwa people, one of the oldest indigenous tribes in Africa. whose knowledge of the forest's flora and fauna is unparalleled. Engage with the community, listen to their stories, and experience their traditional dances and music, gaining a deeper understanding of their way of life and the challenges they face.

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing on Gorilla trekking. They will provide important information on the trekking procedures, safety measures, and guidelines for interacting with the mountain gorillas.Equipped with your trekking gear, you will be assigned to a group led by the park's guide and set off into the dense, mist-covered forest. The trek can be challenging, with the terrain varying from muddy trails to steep slopes. When you finally encounter a gorilla family you will spend a precious hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, watching them interact, play, and go about their daily activities.

After the trek, return to your lodge to freshen up and have lunch. Once you are rested, you will begin your journey to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most picturesque and serene locations in Uganda.

Day 10

Canoeing 

LAKE BUNYONYI

Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Place of Many Little Birds," is dotted with 29 islands and offers breathtaking views.  In the morning after breakfast enjoy a canoeing adventure on Lake Bunyonyi. In the afternoon, you can enjoy optional activities such as birdwatching, hiking, or simply lounging by the lakeside with a good book. Lake Bunyonyi is home to a wide variety of bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers

Departure

LAKE BUNYONYI - KAMPALA/ ENTEBBE

After breakfast, bid farewell to the serene beauty of Lake Bunyonyi as you begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe for your onward programs. The drive will take you through picturesque countryside and charming villages, offering glimpses of everyday life in rural Uganda.

Make a stop at the Equator Experience in Kayabwe, where you can straddle the northern and southern hemispheres simultaneously. Learn about the unique geographical and gravitational forces at play at the equator, and capture memorable photos at this iconic landmark.
